Emergency Calls
Fortunately, true emergencies are rare,
but when they do occur they demand prompt action. We suggest that in a
true emergency the child’s needs be best served by taking him/her
directly to the hospital emergency room nearest to your home. Proper
equipment is available there, and a physician trained in emergency care
is available 24 hours a day. The hospital will be able to reach your
physician when necessary. If the emergency is life threatening, call
911.
