Examination Schedules
We follow the schedule recommended by the
American Academy of Pediatrics. Infants are examined about six times in
the first year, and two or three times in the second year. We recommend
yearly physical exams to the age of five or six. After this age,
complete physical exams can be given less frequently if there are no
ongoing health problems. Physical exams are generally required at 2 or
3-year intervals for purposes of camp or sports. A good way to remember
complete physical examinations is to schedule them at about the time of
your child’s birthday. Please bring your child’s immunization record
during all visits.
