Parental attitude linked to HPV vaccination in youths
Young girls were more likely to receive the human papillomavirus vaccine if their parents wanted to protect their health and were more trusting of the public health system, compared with those whose parents had more concerns about the safety of the vaccine or possible side effects. The findings were published in the journal Human Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics
